Danette Wulf of Colville, WA passed away March 8, 2016 after a long struggle with cancer.

Danette Gail Moratti was born November 8, 1954 in Seattle WA to Louis and Helen Moratti. She attended school at Auburn High School in WA as well as Yamato High School in Tokyo, Japan. Danette married Michael Wulf on March 12, 1973 in Federal Way, WA. After four years of marriage Danette gave birth to their son Kevin on September 10, 1977 followed three years later by their daughter Leslie on February 22, 1980.

After living in western WA, Danette and Michael decided to move to Colville, WA in August of 1987 where they had purchased property. Danette started work at Hewes Marine Co Inc., in 1991 where she became lead of the canvas shop making the tops for the boats manufactured there. She worked there for 25 years before having to retire due to her illness.

In her spare time Danette enjoyed traveling with Michael, shopping, fishing, spending time with her children and grandchildren and watching football. Danette was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Danette is survived by her husband Michael Wulf; son Kevin Wulf and his daughter Kasie of Spokane, WA; daughter Leslie Sansom, her husband Theodore and their two children Jacob and Tessa of Kettle Falls, WA; and her brother Louis and his wife Cindy Moratti and their three children of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Services for Danette will be held on March 24, 2016 - 1:00pm, at Danekas Funeral Chapel in Colville, WA with burial services afterward at Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to bcan.org (Bladder cancer advocacy network) would be greatly appreciated.
