Meegan Senecal is a writer  who write a blog "What is Left After". She asked if she could do a feature about Donna and here is the link to that Blog.

It was nicely done- enjoy

Donna Gail Manson was born on a sunny day in early June, 1954 in Auburn, Washington, a bustling town nestled between Tacoma and Seattle. Donna and her brother James grew up in a very musical household: both of their parents were musicians that performed in the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra for two years, along with both working in music departments at local school districts.

Donna took a note from her parent’s book and took up the flute, which she played for years. She graduated from Auburn Senior High School in 1972, and went on to attend Green River Community College. When that wasn’t quite the right fit, she transferred to Evergreen State College in Olympia. She enjoyed exploring the subject of alchemy and often hitch-hiked to visit her friends in nearby towns.

While researching Donna, I had the good fortune to speak with a handful of her classmates from Auburn High School in Washington. I got the chance to hear stories about her from the people that knew and loved her, and I’d like to share those with you.

Madonna R. recalls meeting Donna in sixth grade, at the Vashon Island Camp Sealth. The shy girls bonded instantly. They worked hard with their cabin-mates and won The Sweet Dreamers award, which paired well with Donna’s sweet and fun personality.

In addition, Chuck B. felt that the descriptor of “hippie woman” fit Donna perfectly, and that she was very sweet.

Another classmate, Bruce, remembers visiting Donna while she worked shifts at The End of Trail Shop. He found her to be sweet and funny and made it a routine to stop in and say hello until she went to away to Evergreen College. They even attended a few parties together with other friends.

On the night of March 12th, 1974, Donna left her dorm room shortly after 7pm to attend a jazz concert on campus. She had donned a colorful top, blue slacks and a long black jacket and after saying goodbye to her roommates, headed off into the night. Ted Bundy confessed to killing Donna while on death row.

A Heavenly message:

Those who are so pure and innocent of heart, spirit , and soul that experience unspeakable departure from this earthly world, will be blessed with the greatest, highest level of spiritual bliss and love the ' Lord's kingdom of Heaven ' offers. Donna has become an angel of God, for all of eternity.
