Enumclaw resident William “Dennis” Berscheidt died November 5, 2019. He was born August 6, 1954 in Ellinwood, Kansas to Gerald and Norma Berscheidt. Dennis won a state individual wrestling championship for Auburn High School and graduated with the class of 1972. He joined the US Army in April 1975 and was stationed in Korea. After 2 years of service he was honorably discharged in April 1977. Dennis had a kind spirit, he loved to read, listen to music, play his guitar, and watch sports. He was also an excellent chess player and very knowledgeable about history.

Spent many hours with Dennis in the Basement of the House I was renting in Edgewood between '72 and '76, playing music for HOURS on end!! Good Times!! A genuinely very funny man, highly intelligent and irrevent. Loved the guy. He is missed
